My writing on US politics covers the 2008 presidential election, when I volunteered, and then worked on Barack Obama’s presidential campaign, (“I’m just sayin’” below), and the present day, (“Worlds Apart, Living Right Next Door,” a series I worked on in western North Carolina in August 2024). While my focus is migration and climate, given the overlap between both of these issues and all politics, there will be more.
