I am an independent storyteller and photographer. I write about what is, and what is possible, with a focus on migration and climate. I am a long-time advocate for solutions-based reporting, and believe that one story of possibility told in one part of the globe can inspire beyond the limits of geography.
I work on assignment with activists, advocacy, humanitarian aid and environment organizations, and philanthropists, who see the importance in highlighting positive stories of impact. Among others, I have written for The International Rescue Committee, The Nature Conservancy, and Open Society Foundations.
I also work on bespoke photography projects. Thoughtful, emotive photography about life lived by ordinary people.
We live in a world that, if you don’t look past the headlines, is a world full of polar opposites and extreme views, a lot of anger and angry rhetoric. However, if we dig a little bit further, there are a lot of people from all walks of life who are working towards solutions, and making the world - as trite as it may sound - a better place. I highlight these people and their stories - as a way to inspire others to think differently about the challenges we face, and how to address them.
I focus on the ordinary.
