Unbelievable ...

Tonight I interrupt Billy Holiday and turn on Anderson Cooper 360 on CNN to see what the latest news is on the conflict between Georgia and Russia.  What are they leading with?  Bloody John Edwards and "the other woman," Reille Hunter.  Good lord.  It is not that I want to start of this new, adapted version of my "other blog" with outrage but what is going on?  This is a major international crisis, and really? seriously? the news that is most important to most Americans at this moment in time is whether or not John Edward is telling the whole truth and nothing but the truth.  (I donna think he is by the way ... it all looks very dodgy to me).   Oh dear American News Service, wherefore art thou?  Long gone it is sad to say but it is true.
